About
Northwest Coastal Housing (NWCH) is a nonprofit affordable housing developer based in Lincoln County. NWCH’s mission is “To provide a?ordable, safe, decent, & stable housing with compassion &integrityâ€. NWCH has provided affordable and high needs specialized housing with robust resident services programs in Lincoln County for nearly 30 years: 168 housing units serving nearly 600 individuals presently in Lincoln County through multifamily housing & lodging projects generating employment opportunities. NWCH is a growing organization recently awarded funds for acquisition/rehabilitation of a 32-unit RD project in Tillamook, & awarded to develop an 11-unit Veteran Housing complex in Toledo. Two additional projects are in the pipeline and additional projects are being explored. NWCH also has a robust resident services program, and advocates for positive change and investment in local and regional affordable housing policy. The NWCH tag line is “Everybody needs a place to call homeâ€. The goals of NWCH are to: develop and provide housing for low income persons and their families; provide activities which serve, promote, assist or facilitate community development and community self-help for the bene?t of low and moderate income people in Lincoln County; be an administrator of housing and community service in the interest of the whole community regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, age, religion or any other protected class by law.
