Blue Whale Installation Celebration

OSU has done something BIG. The Marine Mammal Institute has just completed the installation of a 70-foot blue whale skeleton at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport. Now, OSU is home to one of only five fully assembled blue whale skeletons in the country. It’s time to celebrate this decade-long accomplishment, and we want you there.
