The Veterans Quilt Project
Tuesday, January 2, 2024 11:00 AM - Sunday, January 7, 2024 4:00 PM (PST)
Description
The Veterans Quilt Project exhibit is a collaboration between the Lincoln County Historical Society, the Oregon Coast Quilters Guild, and the Lincoln County Veterans Resource Center. The exhibit commemorates the lives of veterans through displaying quilts made for, presented to, and owned by individual veterans serving in all branches of the military. The quilts acknowledge the collective experiences and sacrifices of veterans and their stories provide a glimpse in to their service and lives as civilians. Behind every quilt is a unique human story and an opportunity to forge connections between civilians and veterans.
Free museum entrance for veterans, courtesy of the Lincoln County Resource Center and the City of Toledo.
