OSU Hatfield - Artist in Residence Talk & Exhibit Reception w/ Oriana Poindexter

Description

Hatfield Artist in Residence Oriana Poindexter is both an artist and marine scientist with an academic background spanning photography, fisheries, and marine conservation. She dives, photographs, and collects specimens to create photo-based works that document the ocean’s shifting ecosystems. Oriana will present an artist talk about the work she has done during her residency at Hatfield from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the Carmen Ford Phillips Auditorium in the Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building at Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport. An exhibit reception will be held afterward from 4:30 - 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. The art exhibit will be on display until mid-December and is free to the public.
