Description
C.A.S.T. for Kids Yaquina Bay is returning to our area on Sunday, July 24. This joyful day of fishing, crabbing and boating brings kids with special needs, their families, and community volunteers together for an explosion of fun and inspiration.
The event consists of volunteer boaters taking 40 special needs children and their families crabbing and fishing for 3 hours, followed by lunch, and an awards ceremony for the kids. Organizers also clean and cook the family's catch, and last year the boats combined to catch 303 keeper crab so everyone went home with crab.
